DESCRIPTION:<p>Presenting our first interactive discussion with the Living Room Conversation organization. They will guide a video conversation about empathy to help citizens increase understanding, reveal common ground, and seek solutions.&nbsp;The power of empathy (stepping into the shoes of someone else) can bridge “us vs. them” perceptions and lead to new solutions, improved relationships, better strategies for social change, a reduction in loneliness, and realization of people’s shared human needs and oneness.&nbsp;</p><p>This program will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.&nbsp;<strong>Space is limited and registration is required.</strong>&nbsp;To register, please call (925) 373-5505. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link a few days prior to the event.</p><p>The topic of conversation will be discussed in three rounds. During each round, participants will select from a set of questions designed to encourage dialogue.
